Off-Highway Truck Personal Simulator
Simlog’s Off-Highway Truck Personal Simulator puts trainees at the controls of a modern articulated “rock truck” within a dynamic virtual quarry. Now upgraded to Version 2.0, the simulator features enhanced 3D visuals, refined cabin instrumentation, and realistic environmental effects including fog and wet conditions. Trainees can interact with a simulated wheel loader to develop proper spotting, loading, and dumping techniques—essential for safe and productive haul cycles.
The updated version includes four new modules—such as reverse driving—and introduces key performance tracking for tire wear and unsafe operator behavior. Multiple display options create an immersive 180° view using just one off-the-shelf PC. Software is available in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Key Features
- Realistic simulation graphics and motion physics
- 10 Simulation Modules, from controls practice to complete haul cycles
- 36 Performance Indicators and 7 Procedure/Fatal error checks
- Multiple mounting options for controls and displays
- Compatible with single or triple-monitor setups
- Weather and terrain configuration for advanced skill development
- Viewpoint toggling with keyboard or mouse
- HD instructional videos and e-book included
Simulator Controls
Designed for maximum realism and adaptability, the Off-Highway Truck Personal Simulator supports multiple control configurations. Whether you opt for rugged tabletop controls or the immersive Operator Chair with integrated vibration, each setup delivers a true-to-life training experience. Simlog also offers custom travel cases for secure transport and storage.
Simlog’s Replica Controls for the Off-Highway Truck Simulator use industrial-grade components and are designed for both tabletop and Operator Chair integration. Combine Simlog’s USB-ready Industrial Transmission Lever with a commercial steering wheel and 3-pedal unit for a complete training setup.
Optionally, use a Retarder Lever mounted via a USB joystick and bracket, or configure the middle pedal as a retarder input using the simulation software.

Simlog’s Operator Chair with industrial controls is a cost-effective way to train off-highway truck operators using the Off-Highway Truck simulator software in a safe and realistic environment.
Compared to tabletop-mounted controls, the Operator Chair provides a superior experience with an authentic operator seat, left and right control consoles, and a fully adjustable steering column. The entire setup is mounted on an industrial platform with casters for easy portability.
The left console includes the Hoist Control Lever and switches for changing viewpoints. The right console houses the Transmission Lever and parking brake. The adjustable steering column includes a mounted Retarder Lever. Integrated pedals simulate throttle, service brake, and secondary brake functions. The middle pedal can also be reconfigured as a retarder pedal via the simulation software.
If you already own a Simlog Operator Chair for another simulator, it may be reconfigured for the Off-Highway Truck setup by adding compatible control components.
Key Features
- Authentic industrial operator seat with headrest, air suspension, and seat belt
- Adjustable seat (forward/backward, three height settings)
- Adjustable armrests (height and angle)
- Integrated left console with Hoist Control Lever and viewpoint switches
- Integrated right console with Transmission Lever and parking brake
- Pivoting and telescoping steering column with mounted Retarder Lever
- Industrial-style pedals with five position options
- Steel platform with heavy-duty casters for easy mobility

Vibration System
Vibration increases simulator realism by adding tactile feedback to the audio-visual simulation. Engine idling, collisions, and terrain interactions trigger physical vibrations, making the experience more immersive and enhancing trainee focus and retention.
Simlog’s optional Vibration System includes the ButtKicker Simulation Kit, a low-frequency transducer mounted beneath the seat. It features an integrated amplifier and volume controller, allowing instructors to adjust the vibration force based on training needs.
Software Description
This simulator includes 10 progressive training modules that build skills from basic driving to complete haul cycles. Environmental challenges such as fog and slippery terrain are configurable, providing more advanced practice. Real-time analytics capture 36 unique KPIs—including tire wear and unsafe handling—helping instructors monitor and improve student outcomes.
Ten simulation modules are included to guide operators through increasingly complex driving scenarios. A built-in Wheel Loader ensures realistic truck spotting during the haul cycle practice.
