The Industrial Controls module in Simlog’s Reach Lift Truck Personal Simulator introduces trainees to the essential control functions of a reach truck in a realistic warehouse setting. This module familiarizes users with lift/lower, reach/retract, and tilt functions—laying the foundation for safe and efficient material handling.

In this demo video, operators practice using industrial-grade controls to navigate basic driving and load-handling tasks. It’s an ideal starting point for new forklift trainees and a great refresher for experienced operators looking to reinforce safe habits and control accuracy in high-volume distribution centers.

The Simlog Mobile Crane Personal Simulator offers a powerful, immersive way to train crane operators safely and affordably. Designed to replicate real-world lifting scenarios, the simulator focuses on essential skills such as boom control, hook alignment, swing coordination, and load management—without putting people or equipment at risk.

This virtual training solution helps reduce costly on-site errors while reinforcing best practices for jobsite safety and crane operation. Whether for workforce development or vocational education, Simlog’s crane simulator provides scalable, repeatable training that prepares operators for the real thing.

Simlog's Forklift training person simulator features fifteen modules of increasing difficulty. Module 11: Loading Docks 6, Loading, to Maximize Cube Utilization has trainees working with trucks at the loading docks, picking up each marked load from the loading dock and placing it at an appropriate position inside the truck.

The goal is to minimize wasted space with a compact arrangement of loads in the truck, either on the truck floor or stacked on other loads while giving special consideration to any tall or hazardous loads.

Module 12: Selective Pallet Racks 1 - Low Shelves has trainees working with selective pallet racks, picking up each marked load, and placing it at its target position, defined by an outline of the same color as the load, using the overhead map for guidance.

The loads and their target positions are limited to the floor or first shelf in the racks.

Module 15: Cantilever Racks and Flatbed Truck has trainees working with cantilever racks and a flatbed truck, picking up each marked load and placing it at its target position defined by an outline of the same color as the load, using the overhead map for guidance.

Simlog Replica Controls for the Backhoe Loader Personal Simulator features industrial strength components suitable for both table-top mounting and Simlog’s Operator Chair. If you are a Simlog customer, you may be able to re-use the Replica Controls that you already have.

Replica Controls begin with two industrial USB joysticks. There are a total of 8 push-buttons for the thumb, plus a trigger, to let you change the viewpoint by looking to the left/right, looking up/down, and by changing the viewing mode during the simulation. The USB electronics are built right into the base, so the joystick can be connected directly to your PC. Simlog also offers table-top mounting brackets to bring the joysticks down from table-top height to the sides of an ordinary chair to mimic better the positioning of real controls in the cabin of real heavy equipment.

To complete the Replica Controls, add the Logitech “G920 Driving Force Racing Wheel” consisting of a steering wheel, a three-pedal unit, and the Transmission Control Lever suitable for many other Personal Simulators. (The Logitech “Driving Force Shifter” can also be used.)

Simlog Mobile Crane Personal Simulator's Pole Topping Module has trainees lifting a rubber tire load onto the tops of a series of poles in order. The target pole is marked with blue rings that will turn green once the pole has been topped.

Simlog Mobile Crane Personal Simulator's Pole Placement Module has trainees carefully lift the pole off the ground and then place it into the target hole (the target changes color as the pole gets closer) while avoiding obstacles and unstable positions.

Simlog Mobile Crane Personal Simulator's Pick, Lift, and Place Module has trainees configure the boom angle, extension mode, and length and then place the hook in the rigging target (blue sphere) above the load. Once triggered, lift the load and place it into the target. Each trial ends when the load is sufficiently well placed (the target will turn green), the speed of the load is sufficiently small, and the operator activates the horn.
